I’m an aspiring hotelier driven by a passion for service and a desire to make guests feel valued in a world that often forgets kindness.
The International Hotel School equipped me with essential hospitality etiquette, leadership skills and an appreciation for the industry’s history and values. I served on the Student Representative Council and completed internships at Park Inn by Radisson Foreshore, The Silo Hotel and Ellerman House. I also worked part-time as a Junior Manager at The Pod Hotel in Camps Bay.
Through IHS, I had the life-changing opportunity to intern in the USA on a J1 visa, spending a year at the Ritz-Carlton Resort of Naples in Florida. There, I formed connections with people from around the world and deepened my love for hospitality.
Upon returning to South Africa, I became the Food & Beverage Administrator and Supervisor at Ellerman House. My journey has been shaped by incredible mentors and experiences that taught me the essence of true hospitality: being a lady or gentleman serving other ladies and gentlemen. To those entering the field – let passion and character guide your way. Networking and authenticity are your greatest tools.
